Pastoral Staff at the Iron Range Vineyard Church in Eveleth…
Don Guttormson – Lead
Bonnie Guttormson – Administration
Don & Bonnie have been pastors and church planters for over 3 decades. They have been married for over 40 years, and have three adult children (Lars, Yulanda, & Bjorn). When they met, Bonnie was leading a small group of teens and college age kids in her apartment. That was her first small group. Since then small groups of all kinds have been her passion.
Don grew up on the Iron Range and is excited to be back. His ministry background includes music, youth directing, church planting and coaching pastors. He loves fishing, camping, playing guitar and riding motorcycle on a hot summer day. Bonnie’s favorite ways to spend time (other than with family), would be outside; including walking, camping, cutting wood, fishing, biking or just laying on the ground under the stars. Music and travel are also high on their list of things they do together.
Don and Bonnie are passionate about introducing people to Jesus and helping them discover who God created them to be. They desire to bring people understanding of how much God loves them, and that He has a plan for their life.
Becky Frichek – Worship
Becky has been the worship leader at the Iron Range Vineyard since our launch in 2013, and is currently focused on growing and developing the worship team and assisting with our church family’s involvement in international missions. Becky graduated from Wheaton College in 2004 with a Literature degree and spent several years teaching in Indonesia before returning to her native Duluth to learn ministry and leadership skills at the Duluth Vineyard. She moved to the Iron Range in 2013 to lead worship at the Iron Range Vineyard, and came on staff as a pastor in 2014.
Becky lives in Gilbert with her husband Tom. She spends her free time enjoying the woods and lakes nearby, and participating in the local Iron Range music scene.
Pete Greiner – Small Group / Small Group Development
Pete has been with the Iron Range Vineyard from the beginning (since 2012) and it has been quite a journey! Pete and his wife Taryn have two young children (Becca & Jack) who keep them busy and entertained. Both Pete and Taryn are passionate about connecting people with Jesus and how this affects our everyday lives. They both grew up on the Iron Range and are glad to be living and raising our children here.
In Pete’s spare time (though that can be hard to find with two small ones!) he enjoys being in the outdoors, working with wood, hunting and fishing and making a remarkable loaf of artisan bread.
