New? – What to Expect
At the Vineyard we encourage you to come as you are. We all have our long list of imperfections and struggles. We don’t want you to ever feel like you need to “polish up” your life or spiff up your wardrobe in order to come and hang out at any of our services or gatherings. We are a diverse group of imperfect folks who want to learn more about what it means to have a relationship with God. Our aim is to make you feel right at home.
Morning Service: Sunday at 10 am
Location: 116 Adams Avenue in Eveleth
We are located in an older building so there are quite a few stairs to climb. In the winter or inclement weather, please use the basement door on the left – it is still the same amount of stairs to climb inside, but at least you’ll stay drier.
This basement entrance is also our handicapped entrance. We have an elevator in the basement that can bring you to/from the main floor sanctuary. Please make us aware of this need to ensure we have an elevator operator downstairs for you when you come (we usually do but just to make sure). Thanks.
Come on in and grab a free cup of coffee or tea – whatever your fancy. Yes, you are welcome to bring it to your seat and sip it throughout the service – we like our caffeine at the Vineyard! 😉
The service starts with about 20-30 minutes of worship through music and singing. You may stand or sit as you prefer.
After a practical message right from the Bible, there is typically a prayer ministry time, giving an opportunity for anyone to receive prayer from those who are trained to pray for those in need.
We look forward to meeting you!
Kids
VineyardKids: 6 weeks – 5th grade
(VineyardKids and nursery is provided most Sundays – but based on volunteer availability)
VineyardKids is a place where children experience God’s love through worship, age-appropriate learning activities and relationships, with each other and our fantastic teachers and helpers. Check-in stations are open 20 minutes prior to each service. The check-in stations for age 6 weeks to 5th grade are located through God’s living room (the sanctuary) at the door on the front left.
We do our best to ensure a safe environment throughout our church and the VineyardKids program is no exception. When you check your child in at VineyardKids, you and your child will each receive a sticker with a corresponding code so we can be sure that the people who pick the kids up after each service are the people they arrived with and no one else! Stickers will also include your child’s name and any food allergies or sensitivities you would like us to be aware of.
